This charming hotel offers a cozy atmosphere and easy access to Quito’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Spend the evening settling in, exploring the vibrant streets nearby, or enjoying a quiet dinner at a local restaurant.

Quito

Today is yours to discover Quito’s rich culture and history. Start your day by strolling through the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, visiting iconic landmarks like the Plaza Grande, La Compañía de Jesús Church with its gilded interior, and the San Francisco Monastery. You can climb the towers of the Basílica del Voto Nacional for panoramic views of the city or visit the nearby Panecillo Hill for a closer look at the Virgin of Quito statue.

From there, embark on your trek to the summit of Rucu Pichincha, which stands at 4,698 meters (15,413 feet).
The hike takes approximately 5-7 hours round trip, depending on your pace and acclimatization level. The trail features varied terrain, from grassy plains to rocky paths, with breathtaking views along the way. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and warm layers, as weather conditions can change rapidly. After completing your trek, return to Quito Basecamp Hotel to relax and recover.
